Fire Mode

Fire Mode (E-Mode) on Pyron allows users to borrow more efficiently when working with correlated assets such as FOGO and its LSTs. By enabling Fire Mode, users can unlock higher borrowing power while keeping risk parameters aligned with correlated pairs.

This guide explains how to enable and use Fire Mode step by step.

Supported Pairs

Fire Mode only works for specific asset pairs that are supported by the protocol.

To see which pairs support Fire Mode:

  1. Go to the Pyron app.

  2. Click Explore Fire Mode.

  3. Select the asset you want to lend or borrow.

The interface will show you which assets are compatible with Fire Mode.

Using Fire Mode With Existing Positions

If you already have an open position where you:

  • Lent iFOGO, iHUB, or stFOGO

  • Borrowed FOGO

you can simply borrow more FOGO again.

You will notice that your maximum borrow limit increases compared to before.

This means Fire Mode is active and allowing more efficient borrowing.

Step-by-Step Flow

1. Check Supported Pairs

First, open Explore Fire Mode and check which pairs are supported.

2. Supply the Required Collateral

Lend the asset required for the pair.

Example:

  • Lend stFOGO

  • Borrow FOGO

3. Borrow Using Fire Mode

  1. Go to the Borrow tab

  2. Select the asset you want to borrow

  3. Choose Max or enter your desired amount

The interface will show how much you can borrow with Fire Mode enabled.

Important Safety Notes

Borrowing Unsupported Assets:

If Fire Mode is active and you attempt to borrow an asset outside the supported pair, the interface will show a warning.

Borrowing unsupported assets will disable Fire Mode and may increase the risk of your position.

For better risk management, it is recommended to keep Fire Mode strategies in a separate lending account.

This ensures:

  • cleaner position management

  • reduced liquidation risk

  • easier monitoring of Fire Mode strategies

Best Practices

• Always verify the supported Fire Mode pairs before opening a position

• Avoid mixing Fire Mode assets with unrelated borrows

• Monitor your health factor regularly

• Consider isolating Fire Mode strategies into a separate lending account

Summary

Fire Mode unlocks higher capital efficiency on Pyron by adjusting lending parameters for correlated assets.

With the right pairs, users can:

  • borrow more with the same collateral

  • run more efficient leverage strategies

  • improve capital utilization across the Fogo ecosystem
